16/ 04/ 2024 Doctor was not helpfull. No appointment no help with call appointment. Very disappointed. Have to go in Hospital instead.

Don't give appointment send me to pharmacy no normal conversation with doctor on phone call appointment.

I understand the need to triage, but in most instances it's reception taking details (and holding up answering other calls) and no contact with medical staff. Then a text at the end of the morning. In this instance, no advice on pain management or anything. At least I'm told there's a referral being made.

On a previous occasion I did get to speak to a medical person (not a doctor) and she was able to find a specific antibiotic that works for me, in contrast to the normal triage of receptionist asking questions, taking notes then no contact with a triage medical person. Too few staff or a poorly working system? I don't know, but it's far from great, barely functioning, and has caused extra cost and delays to treatment in my experience.

I used the online triage system. It’s a bit long winded but I did get an appointment the same day which was good.

The online system is overly long and has far too many questions.

Wish I could give five stars but it is difficult to get through to the surgery. If you ring when the surgery opens and are patient I do usually get through and manage to get a call back. On this recent occasion I did feel the need to complain but that was on my husbands behalf. He'd had an xray and was in great pain but had to wait four weeks for the result so that was frustrating.

The timescale was too long to get the x-ray result. We couldn't make a plan to go forward until we had the results. All of this time he was in great pain.
